I think more of the salesperson/squeaky wheel mode, although sometimes painful, can do wonders with carrying enthusiasm.

Re: Your Wednesday Potpourri

RZ,
What do you think it would take for the bring backs to make up a larger portion of the box? How do we help our audiences do our evangelism for us?

Re: Your Wednesday Potpourri

We tried a "If you've seen the show and come back with a friend, you'll be able to see the show for free" deal with the Skriker. We had a couple of people take us up on the deal but it didn't make up a lot of our box office. We had a lot of people returning singley to see the show and we would let them see it again for free (I'm a softy at the box office sometimes.) Our industry "Pay What You Can" deals always did very well.

Re: Your Wednesday Potpourri

Do folks use it? Is that the same thing? ;)
